There are some cases in which you may need to check if your device is rooted. When you buy a device from the second-hand market or when you ask somebody else to root your device. One of the best ways to check if the device is rooted and has busybox installed is by downloading and running this app.
It couldn't be easier: launch the app, press the "check root" button and voilà! The app will return a message saying either the devices is or isn't rooted, if the busybox is available and which busybox version is installed. The results can be shared using any of the apps installed on your device.
The app goes straight to the point. However, it would be nice if it included some "tutorials" on how to root, concept definitions (busybox, root, ROM...). Besides, it performs exactly what you came here looking for.

Check if your device is rooted or not. It checks if you have super user privileges base on su and busybox binaries availability. If BusyBox is available you will get information about BusyBox version.
It will NOT ROOT your phone!
