This app runs only on rooted devices.
Have you ever wanted to capture a video featuring your personal bests on your favorite Android game? Or a screenshot of your homescreen... or maybe to record a tutorial to show how to make some Android OS tricks. Whatever the purpose, the need is shared: capturing screenshots and videos of what's displayed in your device.
That's what Screencast allows users to do. Using it is as easy as tap on the central home button to start recording. However, there are some parameters you can adjust from settings. Thus, you can set video resolution, video orientation, frames per second (up to 40), timelapse multiplier, record audio (from mic), screenshot format, and many more.
In order to make the most of your device's hardware, you can make a benchmark that will show, for example, maximum frames per second supported. Videos and screenshot taken will be saved on a built-in gallery.
