Beebe Bahrami is a writer and anthropologist dedicated to writing about Spain, France, and the western Mediterranean world. She first arrived in Madrid in 1986 and has visited Madrid almost annually ever since. Beebe has explored the nuances of Madrid’s neighborhoods, dug deep into the city’s psyche, and relished in breaking bread over tapas and wine with Madrileños of all walks of life.
She has authored other books, including The Spiritual Traveler Spain and Historic Walking Guides: Madrid.
