Umweltzone (low emission zone)

Low emission zone information for all* German cities.
This application enables people to look up the areas of cities which are restricted for being used by cars limited by their specific emission profile. The app shows the outline of the low emission zones and provides additional information about dates or special regulations such as for vehicles registered abroad. Moreover, the user can use the FAQs to read about emission groups, fine particles, stickers for cars or motorbikes, punishments, exception permits and many more. Further, there are several links included pointing to external websites which serve more information to read through.
At the moment, the app does not show Diesel probibtion zones such as exist in Hamburg. I am actively working on extending the app with this new feature. Stay tuned. Meanwhile you can sign-up as a beta tester to retrieve new version earlier.
Some cities have not published the geo-coordinates in a suitable (machine-readable) file format. You can change this situation with a simple email. This can be sent directly from within the application.
The application runs on smartphones and tablets from Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and above.
