There’s a reason why Washington is one of America’s top wine destinations. Great wine, yes, but more than that, there’s loads to do in wine country. Washington is the nation’s second largest producer of premium wine and year-after-year receives rave reviews. What’s more, the variety of regions to discover from the wetter (greener) westside of the State to the drier (browner) eastside makes for plenty of photo ops. Discover quaint wineries that offer fabulous overnight accommodations as well as wineries serving up delicious food and luxurious overnight accommodations. Written in the fun-filled joie de vie style that fans of author Steve Roberts adore, this app makes it easy to find Washington’s not-so-secret liquid treasures.
WineTrails of Washington highlights over 300 wineries with in-depth profiles, over 3,000 photos and can’t miss advice on what to taste. Turn by turn directions make it easy to find your new favorite winery. With winery descriptions, links to YouTube and other websites and winery profiles galore, WineTrails of Washington is the must-have app for uncovering hidden riches. ★ About the Author ★
Washington native Steve Roberts is the author of best-selling wine tour guide including his celebrated WineTrails of Washington. This is his second app following the release of the popular WineTrails of Walla Walla App in 2011. Through this app, you can experience his joie de vivre writing style, his stunning photos and, of course, Washington’s biggest treasure, their amazing wines.
Writer, photographer, and celebrated guide but what makes Roberts unique is his unbridled joy of Washington wine. He admits to being a life-long student of wine stating, “Understanding the growing of premium and making wine, is critical to understanding how wine pairs so beautifully with our Northwest lifestyle. Food, play, music and loved ones – wine pairs with them like peas and carrots.”
A resident of Mercer Island near Seattle, Roberts recently completed his certificate in wine sales and marketing from Seattle’s South Seattle Community College’s Northwest Wine Academy. He is happily married to Kathleen Roberts. They have four great kids, two grandchildren, two cats and a dog.
