A CCG focused on invoking creatures

    • Nothing remarkable
    • Requires constant Internet connection
    • Usual flaws of the genre

Evoker is the last in a long line of collectible card games to land on market, following all the same premises: build your deck either by in-game coins or in-app purchases, fussion cards to make them more powerful and duel other players for bounty and experience points. Artwork is good and the focus on creatures rather than spells (as CCGs were at the beginning) make this game quite interesting.

However, it also shares the usual flaws of the genre it belongs. Battles are little animated if animated at all, you endure a linear beginning and are then left with many choices to do, and characters and monsters are so cliche that you won't even need to read the stats. Likewise, missions are a succession of pointless tap-tap-taps, and graphics aren't as good, perhaps in exchange for using rendered graphics instead of hand-drawn ones.

Anyway, if you like CCGs this is as good as any other, and is more oriented to critters if you're into that.

It's really fun but I think there should be mass deletions of cards
