RetroShips - Space Shooter

Wapow! Kaboom! Zap zap zap! There isn't any sound in real space, but that's why we have excellent little retro games to fulfill our sound-effect laden astro-daydreams. TLD GAMES' RetroShips - Space Shooter is all about blasting apart the pixels of the streams of enemy ships come to call.
Dodge your enemies and their attacks whilst blasting them out of the solar system. Gain access to power-ups by destroying the mammoth cargo ships. It's as retro as retro comes, both in terms of visual design and gameplay. An ever-scrolling vertical screen is reminiscent of the old arcade towers, and the great pixelled graphics against a galactic background make you feel like you've transported a decade or two into the past. There are four levels, each containing 8 sub-levels for a full 32 stages in all (including boss battles).
The animations for explosions are fantastic. Seriously, it's really satisfying to take down heaps of enemies when you can watch them fly all over the screen every time. The retro-soundtrack is also fun. It's not a super original concept, but neither is it meant to be - just let it hearken back to the arcade days of yore.
TLD GAMES' RetroShips - Space Shooter is a retro shmup for fans of the genre who just can't deny the urge to explode enemies in outer space.

Retroships - Space Shooter is an exciting vertical scrolling shoot´em up game inspired by arcade console games of the 80s.
It's simple. Shoot all what you see and avoid the enemies, you can destroy the cargo ships in order to collect power-ups that will help you.
How to use
Just put your finger anywhere on the screen to move the ship (do NOT put your finger over the ship or it will be harder to avoid the enemies or his shots). The power-up Megablast is released by lifting the finger from the screen.

Power-ups (and power-nothing).
600 animated frames for explosions.
Lots of ships with different behaviors.
Great effects with planes using modern techniques.
Impressive final bosses at the end of each level.
