9th Dawn RPG is an old-style RPG game set in a huge open world

    • Huge open world to explore
    • Three classes to choose among
    • Lots of items, equipment and weaponry
    • Retro-style graphics
    • Beta
    • Controls should be enhanced

    "New adventures for dungeon crawlers"

Sword masters, dungeon crawlers or spells casters, no matter who you are, or what you want to be: there's place enough for everyone in Montelome, the large open world of 9th Dawn RPG. Fans of the genre will love this title since it comes with all the elements that defines role-playing games like leveling up system, items, spells, classes (Knight, Archer and Mage) with unique skills, quests, treasures and an unexplored world full of dangers and mystery.

9th Dawn is set in 2D retro graphics that reminds Ultima or Tibia. However, this isn't a MMORPG but RPG, at least so far. It ensures hours of dialogues, lots of quests and weaponry and equipment enough to satisfy even the more demanding players. However, have in mind that the game's still in beta and its developer (Valorware) needs your support to keep enhancing it.

It came up in two flavors: a free version limited to Agaria Village and with ads; and an ad-free full version with no restrictions. Highly recommendable.

Are you a fan of oldschool RPGs like Ultima, but crave the openness and exploration in modern games? If so, we at Valorware are dedicated to giving you just that! We are proud to present 9th Dawn, a game that's a blend of modern and traditional design and gameplay and sports the largest open world experience available today in a mobile RPG!

Explore the large island continent of Montelorne, a land far detached from the mainland, but filled with mystery, danger, and last but not least, adventure. You begin your journey in the small village of Agaria, but once you gain your bearings, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of its own.

Play as one of three of the traditional classes: The sturdy knight, skilled in the art of combat and possessing the ability to wield heavy armour and weapons; the nimble archer, capable of swiftly dispatching a foe from afar or up close with his daggers; the wise mage, master of the elements and capable of utilizing powerful magic spells and summoning abilities to obliterate the enemy.

Whether it's searching for hidden artifacts and treasure, helping the troubled Montelornians with the rising undead armies, or simply exploring the massive world and its many towns, dungeons, and forests, there is no shortage of fun for a bold adventurer to partake of!

NOTE: There is currently no built in way to transfer your character from the free version to the full version. If you have a rooted device, it is possible and there are numerous methods for doing it. Some users on our forum have done this, so you can post there for instructions on how to do so.

This is the free demo version of the game! If you enjoy it, please check out the full version!

If you previously had the tech demo installed, this version of the demo is completely new and has content from the full version of the game. We encourage you to update your demo and try it again!

This game requires around 130MB of available RAM to play. If you do not have the required amount of available memory, the game may crash (at startup or in game), display a black screen, or have no graphics because there isn't enough memory to load them. There is nothing we can really do about this, since this is how much memory is necessary to load the media and content of the game.

Totally awesome game! Despite two classes that cannot heal (warrior and ranger) are total garbage, the game offers two other ones who can, and they totally rock! Mana regen is awesome, and killing monsters is so fun! Game controls are great! Joysticks are positioned exactly where one would expect them to be! Reverse aiming for spells is a bit confusing at first. "Fog of war" is so nostalgic and reminds me of Nox! TLDR: 5/5 stars. Awesome game. But, do not bother with the sequel to this game, as that one is horrible.

Wow the aiming and firing system is so perfect in this first one. Why was it downgraded to the auto firing thing in the second game... I can actually hit 9/10 things I aim for with spells... Everything else is great too, but the game gets horrible fps an 810snapdragon(oneplus2) Similar cpu to lg g4 . And nearly no lag in the 9th dawn II even with battery saver enabled... I would love to buy this game if it was stable... And now they are on sale lol :(

They publicly stated the first game would be free after the 2nd game came out. With the purchase of the 2nd title I still do NOT have the 1st. Pisser :-(

Loved the demo. Classic old school RPG, with a very Morrowind feel. After a few levels killing sandcrabs things get a lot easier and you don't die so much. A little sluggish at times on Nexus 6P. Would love to buy, but full game 'not available in my country', so minus one star. Please change that.
