    A 2D retro platformer

    • Free, no ads, no iaps
    • Surprisingly addictive, at least once.
    • Is it as it is? really?
    • Difficulty might be discouraging

    "Thou shan't look back"

OK, gamers, so you think you've had seen it all? Do you believe that you can beat any game any time?

Here's DLB by Terry Cavanagh, the devilish creator of Super Hexagon (oh, Terry, how much can we love and hate you at the same time?!). It has no rules, no tips, no anything. Your character, namely a eight pixels sprite, is mourning at his wife's tomb (or we guess so) and starts a trip to God knows where seeking revenge. In his way, he'll face endless hazards such as pixeled bats, pixeled spiders, pixeled snakes and pixel lava pits.

This game is so bloody challenging that there isn't any lifebar, as you have infinite lives instead. There aren't save points either, because you automatically respawn in the last screen you died. Likewise, there isn't any score or reward, just your own self-fulfilment. You don't have to kill everything around, many screens can be weaseled by precise jumps and a little bit of luck.

This game can be downloaded and for free, it's free of ads, there aren't in-app purchases nor it requires any permission. It's just download and give it a go.

Don't Look Back is a short game I made in 2009.

This is a completely free game, not "free to play"; there are no in-app purchases or any of that nonsense.
