Exitium is an fantasy action RPG

    • Graphics
    • Fast-paced battles
    • Online/offline features merged
    • Upgrading system
    • Weaponry and equipment
    • Need to create an account for online features

    "Vardonia must be free"

Pro version has been optimized for both tablets and smartphones

In Exitium you embody one of the four saviors of Vardonia. You can choose among them, each with their own class: berserker, mage, palading and priestess. Bear in mind that each own specific skills that will affect the story somehow.

I have to admit that I'm a fan of this genre and I've already tried hundreds of RPGs on Android. Exitium is one of my favorites due to well-crafted graphics, old-style upgrading system, hours of dialogues and a hooking storyline. Likewise, it combines offline and online game features like "online flea market". That merging of real and fantasy makes the difference.

What's sure thing is that Exitium isn't boring at all: four classes, dozens of weapons, hundreds of missions and quests, skills, equipment and a huge world to explore ensures hours and hours of fun. Fast paced fights (not turn-based) using skills and magic will keep you glued to the screen.

In brief, a pure RPG as it always should be. Highly recommendable.

FOUR playable characters! Each with unique skills, strengths, items and perspective!

Waste of time. You complete quests to earn coins. Problem is that the small creatures you fight take 6 long range hits to kill, but will kill you in 3. The controls are shit as well. The directional pad is twitchy as hell and the attack button will occasionally work when pressed. Also, even if you attack something from behind, it ALWAYS gets the first strike. If you enjoy retarded games, this one is perfect for you.

The story is interesting, and that really is a requirement for me otherwise I lose interest very quickly, no matter how good the rest is. The problems I have come from the controls and gameplay. Monsters respawn much too quickly, so you get surrounded very easily. Drop rates are incredibly low, I have been killing pigworms and scorpions for more than an hour and collected only 4 materials each... Default attack is awkward : if you are playing wizard because you have to run away from the monster far enough for the default attack to be magic bolt (instead of hitting with a staff for almost no damage if too close) and then waste time turning around before tapping the attack button. Just tapping a direction around the character instead of the attack button would be more convenient and bypass the need to face the enemy. You also start with a very small inventory, only 9 slots, almost all of which are already taken by things you need, and to expand you either wait to earn a bag from a quest, buy small bags from merchants for so much gold you will probably be more than halfway through the game before you can afford it, or buy the best bags with premium currency... which brings me to my next point. Impossible to buy coins (premium currency). When I tap the Coin Bank button, I get a message saying "The connection to the server has failed". I really like the game and story, but the gameplay is very tedious, especially with the low drop rates which make collect quest a pain, and forging equipment even worse, and having to constantly return to the warehouse to empty the inventory. I'll keep going for now, but I'm afraid I'll get discouraged by all these problems eventually.
