    A simple and fast CCG

    • No premium currency
    • No control over battles
    • Rules are unclear

    "Be in bad moon mood"

Within the myriad of collectible card games, here's Bad Blood. It's a simple, straightforward card game in which you create decks called squads from any of the different clans available (human, werebeasts, vampires and demons) and follow a campaign with increasing difficulty -so increasing that in fact it's hard to pass the third stage.

Artwork is good, but far from other more well-known games. However, once you create your deck and start a battle, there's no possible control over it, and it happens in an unyielding and inexorable way. If you can't defeat a stage, your only option is to pay a visit to the shop and buy either cards or boosters. Fortunately, there isn't any premium currency, so all the coins you earn can be used to purchase whatever you may need. On the other hand, rare cards cost a fortune, leaving you to choice whether to play for an eternity or exchange legal tender for in-game gold coins. A deeper tutotial would also been welcome.

Once you get used to how this game works, you can jump onto the unfathomableness of online playing, of course.

Good for phones without much storage space (like mine). Graphics need improving in places. Some of the cards look good but others have a 'made in MS Paint' feel to them with the black outlines but look OK overall. After hitting 'Play', you are shown a menu where you just scroll through a list of buttons. Very bland here. Graphics don't have to be amazing to make a game good but it comes across as a lack of effort when this kind of approach is used and its the first thing you see. Could of done the same as (or similar to) Deck Hero's where you see the whole city (like a map) and the different buildings represent each of the different menu options. Not beat a castle yet so not sure if the server error that others were reporting is fixed yet. PvP does work though so it is mostly playable. Its missing a few features too. PvP feels kind of pointless as there is no leaderboard or anything. You just battle and you ether win or loose, end. Card packs mention card rarity but the actual cards don't indicate how rare they are, just got to guess by how cool they look. No card binder for seeing which cards I have and haven't got.
