Design a skeleton of a skatepark for a teeny Droid

"Help the Droid catch some air"

Thumb Friendly Games' Droid Rider is a creative, totally open-ended physics game in which you create surfaces for a skateboarding Droid.

I hesitate to even call it a "game" as there's no end goal, no points, no upgrades, no bonuses. The simple physics engine pulls the Droid downwards, and you can draw platforms for him to land upon. Careening him down slopes will cause increased acceleration, of course - can you make him do a loop-de-loop? But if you'd rather make him fall flat on his face, that's also dandy: press the pause button and construct a series of pratfalls for the little guy (you sadist). A few different surfaces include minimal special effects, like switching directions and dripping pixels.

There's not a whole lot to the setup, so you've got to use your imagination to come up with the parameters of how you'll design a course for the Droid. That's both a positive and a negative, really - remember when all you needed to have fun was MS Paint? It feels kind of like that. Did I just mark myself as old? There should definitely be a way to share your creations with friends.

I don't see many open-ended creative apps like Thumb Friendly Games' Droid Rider. I'd love to see more in this spirit, with a greater amount of detail.
