    Everlove: Rose's review

    An interactive romance novel

    • Gorgeous hand-drawn artwork
    • Rich and interactive story
    • Some outdated tropes

"Love might not last forever. Justice does."

Everlove caught our attention for a few reasons. Firstly, because it's been presented as a romance game. Although it's true that's not the first time we hear that, this seems the most "professional" of them. In addition, we are talking about a "romance game", not a game about bratty highschoolers. It's a story about passion, self-reliance and will, but also investigation, wittiness and, utterly, vengeance, as a Danielle Steel novel so to speak.

Artwork is beautifully drawn, in a Western style (no manga this time, youngsters!), and choices (because it's an evolved version of choice your adventure in the end) are naturally presented into the story, not only in critical moments as other games would do. Along your journey (literally speaking in more than a sense) you'll earn prowess and wits, though perhaps not in the way you'd expect: kindness is a virtue you could also boost. In your way you will have to solve puzzles and jigsaws.

We don't like the "game for women" label at all, because this game if a rare example on how to make an interesting story where player interacts and enjoys, recommended for everyone. If we had to highlight a flaw, it'd be that there are some outdated tropes here and there, cliches that may be fine for a certain target audience but can discourage others. In the end, great work of Silicon Sisters, whom we ask to make more games like this and be bolder next time. And translate them to other languages as well, because it can be pretty hard for non-native English speakers to fully enjoy the rich texts. Anyway, go ahead, enjoy the first free chapter and decide whether to upgrade to the paid version or not.

Beautiful art work, but not a very deep story. Still a decent story.

It was fun, it's a fresh and interesting idea for a game. The Four leading men are diverse so you won't get bored. Why I didn't give it a five start is that at the end discussion scene if you could disagree and still keep the guy would be good.

Entertaining and with four possible roads worth the money. The story could do with strenghtning but other than that, good fun

This is a wonderful interactive story everything about it is awesome it's neat to see the story change with the different guy you fall for, I only wish the story was longer for the price but the graphics are really good the characters are realistic and pretty, I wish there were more of these
