Brave Jumping Cat is a tilt-controlled vertical platformer set in retro graphics

    • Pixelated retro graphics
    • Tilt controls
    • Timekiller
    • Needs more handicaps and power-ups
    • No online leaderboards
    • It should be enhanced graphically

    "Jump cat jump!"

Vertical platformers has been reborn thanks to mobile devices and tilt controls. It's a genre that has always been there but it's now more fun and challenging playing it shaking our device right and left.

Brave Jumping Cat features a cat who has to jump from one platform to another to reach the floating cat castle, up there, high in the sky. You'll have to help them make the most of springs, collect fishes and avoid flying squirrels. The more fishes you catch, the higher score. However, don't fall off or you'll have to retry from the bottom. There are local scoreboards.

Brave Jumping Cat is set in retro graphics. If you like pixels, you'll like the scenery. Tilt controls response is good. Although it can be enhanced graphically, its main flaw is related to the limited number of handicaps and power-ups. Players need something else than flying squirrels and springs. More boosters would enhance game's playability. Besides, an entertaining timekiller.

BRAVE CAT is a type of action game, which is operated by making use of a mobile phone gravitational sensor.

Tilt the phone left or right to control the CAT to move left or right. Use the spring to make CAT jump higher. Avoid dropping the CAT down freely, otherwise the CAT will lose its lifespan. When the lifespan runs out, the game is over. The scores of the game are calculated based on the times the CAT catches fish. When CAT arrives in the castle, user wins the game.
