An extensive chess app for your mobile device.

    • Small file size
    • Play offline
    • Smooth gameplay
    • Inrusive ads
    • Lost connections
    • Needs some variety

    "Just Let Them Play Chess"

Mobialia Chess Free is an in-depth chess offering for beginners and experts alike. Users get the option of playing on either or domains. Observe or play games to your heart's content.

The file size is small and you can play offline. The graphics are sharp and well-rendered. Gameplay was smooth and there was no lag or noticeable glitches. This one is a great option for chess lovers.

The ads are quite intrusive, popping up every five moves or so. It repeatedly lost the connection when trying to play against another human player. It could use more customization options, like colors or themes. Game requests interrupt current games.

Really hard to find the option to turn off the annoying, distracting arrows that highlight the most recent move.

Keeps crashing every time I try to adjust UCI options for any of my engines, except Carbalo. Error installing Komodo engines/ Chiron but not Stockfish. Could you also add under analysis: number of nodes searched/ number of nodes per second searched? Also could you add the ability to download other engines from the Internet (arasan, bikjump, bobcat, etc) to play against/ analysis?

Would be great if there was an option to show both color AND aarow for previous move! Also, why artificially limit ELO to 2100 max? GMs may want to use this app too. New users should be sure to go to settings analysis and download the free much stronger stockfish 8 engine. Also be sure to turn off animations if you are playing fast time controls.

It connects to FICS which guarantees finding rivals any times. Intuitive and friendly user interface. Nice problems and analysis mode. Chatting could be better.
