Thank you for visiting this site.
Pip Counter for Backgammon is a training tool for backgammon.
Race positions are randomly generated, and you can time the duration for pip count.
Just tap the screen and an original position generation algorithm creates every kind of running game situations, covering from short race to long race. Tap the screen again, and the pip count for each player is displayed with the time you consumed in counting the pips, with a cube actions answer.
The answer of cube action is generated based on Keith count, which is highly accurate way to handle cube action in race positions.
You can also change the direction of the players or show the guidance number to support your pip counting from customization menu.
Train your pip count skill and make your backgammon ability to higher level!!
Please also see CubeTrainer for backgammon, which is focused on cube action.
And Last Roll for Backgammon, which is focused on the last roll position.

So after spending some time thinking I was getting a lot of answers wrong I started comparing the positions with gnu backgammon. While the pip counts are accurate the double / take advice is often at odds with gnu's suggestions. This program seems to be advising the trailer to take when they should clearly pass. Check your answers, FYI.
