Shannon network game
by: Control-J • 15
The Shannon network game pits you against the compute or another human opponent to take turns either colouring or removing lines from a graph. One player ("Short") has the job of colouring arcs in the graph to complete a continuous line from a start node to an end node. The other player ("Cut") tries to stop Short from succeeding by removing lines from the graph.
The game has been around a long time on paper and is also known as Bridg-it or the game of Gale (named after the late mathematician David Gale.)
Since you can play against your Android device or another person on the one device it's perfect for use when no network connectivity is available.
