    Raging Thunder 2's review

    Published: 2011-05-19, by Peter Warrior.

A great racing game with powerful graphics and better gameplay

    • Great graphics
    • Great gameplay
    • None remarkable

    "A 3D racer, featuring cross-platform multiplayer!"

The game is little more than running, coming more or less conveniently in every curve and collect items to gain speed. Jumps and tackles give extra points. Contributes very little to the genre, because it is still yet another reinterpretation of Out Run, but the result is very acceptable and the use of the accelerometer is quite smooth.

This is the complete version of Raging Thunder 2. You can enjoy all gamemodes and, what's most important, all races. Between multiplayer mode and all the races, the game brings hours of fun.

Multiplayer game requires signing up to create a network user account. In addition, there's an achievement system to keep track of all our feats such as the longest jump, top speed reached and so on.

The Polarbit's recipe hasn't changed at all since its beginnings: colorful graphics and great gameplay, and Raging Thunder 2 clearly surpasses its predecessor. It won't lure those who do not like the genre but if you're a fan of racing games, we can recommend it without any doubt.

Only for the skilled. Most certainly my favorite with it's absolutely correct special effects. But the hacked scores should be removed. Everyone of them knocks a deserving pro,(including themselves), out of spot on the "all-time" score-board, FOR GOOD. Lets fix this Devs, and hkrs. People all over world will appreciate it.

... racing game--and no in-app purchases! Well worth the dollar. Why pay $3-$5 for a game and then be foolish enough to pay many times more again? (A fool and his/her money are soon parted by in-app purchases. Or, do you have more money than brains?) **Be smart. Support devs who eschew in-app purchases.**
