Star Traders RPG
by: Trese Brothers • 16K
Be ready to conquer the space through war, diplomacy or economic supremacy. In Stars Traders RPG you embody a space captain which goal is to boost the power of his faction, grow the fleet and bring the other factions under control.
Your adventure starts by choosing the captain name, the starting profession (up to 10: spy, explorer, merchant...), the starting level of difficult (up to 8 from basic to "impossible"), the starting ship and the starting faction. Each faction is powerful in one field: military, politics, industry, trading... Choose the one that fits you best and spread it out the space.
You're the captain, so the ship follows your orders: move it from one planet to the next, invade enemy's bases and secure the area. Green sectors are safer than those marked with read beacons but you can move wherever you want. However, take into account that you can run out of water-fuel, what you need for flying, landing and docking.
Obviously, you also need money for purchasing supplies, repair or upgrade your ships and entertain your crew. Bear in mind that this is a manager-like RPG. Thus, You must show off your management skills in a comprehensive way.
Graphics won't amaze you, it's true. Star Traders RPG is set in top-down retro graphics, with that touch that scenery that reminds first 90's space RPG games. If you are OK with that, you will enjoy the game due to the level of detail and complexity.
