Basketball Shot is a simple game similar to those basketball machines in the mall's games room. You have to score as much as you can in a given time (one minute) and 5 balls available on the field. In order to achieve high scores you have to drag the ball for placing it where you want to throw it and then tap on the screen. The screentouch response is quite good. You can score 2 or 3 points depending on the distance. The gameplay has no mistery, there are not different game modes, the timed-mode is the only one. Even though it's quite addictive, that point could be improved.
You can submit your scores on online leaderboards, but there isn't online mode, and we really miss it. What's more, regarding settings, you only can enable/disable sound, select to use the back key to quit the game. That's all. The other options in the main menu are just to recommend the game (via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, etc) or to check which other games has released the developer.
The game is free but with ads. And they're quite large then bit intrusive. It's something that should be improved, at least by offering a paid version. If this will be the case we hope that the paid version will include more game modes and settings, because it's poor game so far.
Basketball Shot has been developed by DroidHen, a mobile game developer who's fast becoming a veteran on the market They've launched more than 15 titles on different issues, with remarkably success.
We have to recognize that the game is addictive. But it's either not accepted that it doesn't include different game mode (especially online mode), different levels of difficulty or more game settings. You are going to spend a good time with it and have fun, but those catches could make it boring after a while.
