    • Great concept
    • Text, photo, and voice input
    • Invite for 30 minute live brainstorms
    • Easy to navigate
    • Needs a tutorial/FAQ's
    • Lacking some import and export functions
    • Not multi-platform yet

"Two heads are better than one"

IdeaSwipe is an innovative brainstorming tool to help you collaborate with others to bring great ideas together. They say that two heads are better than one, and this great concept gives you a space to build ideas, have live brainstorms, and get inspiration from members of your own team, or even other IdeaSwipe users.

Getting going is easy: simply register with your email address, and start noting down your ideas. You can quickly upload photos, and input text and voice notes, then start live brainstorms and challenges to take your projects to the next level.

IdeaSwipe presents a useful concept, is simple enough to navigate, and works effectively. With a few additions, it could really be something special.

IdeaSwipe is very intuitive to use, and navigation is smooth. An intro (also accessible via the information icon) lets you know the basic functions of the app, and the app is also pre-loaded with examples with pointers to help you get the most out of each of the features.

The live challenge and brainstorm functions are a great idea - each allow you to invite members of your team to contribute create thinking in a session of up to 30 minutes. You can jump out and come back to the session quickly via the live feed section, and input text and voice notes too. And if you're stuck for inspiration, you can shake your device or tap on the wrench icon to generate an 'idea trigger card' (more of which can be purchased) with key words to help provoke a different train of thought.

All ideas raised either in your own personal log, or from brainstorms and challenges can be exported via email, and you can instantly start a live brainstorm from any of your ideas, old or new, in just a couple of taps.

IdeaSwipe presents a very useful idea, particularly when you need to collaborate on a project and don't have everyone you need in the same room. That said, a tutorial or a FAQ's section would help explain how to use it a little more clearly. For example, it's not very clear how you should go about visiting other creative profiles in the app.

It would be great if you could upload docs and make annotations and doodles within both the ideas and challenges, and also have the ability to upload photos during live challenges and brainstorms. It would also be nice to see some cloud storage integration, and more export options e.g. to PDF.

The design of the app is clean enough and you do have some options to customize some of the colors - a more 'minimalist' look might help it look even better.
